SUMMARY:
This role will support the Store Automated Ordering team by analyzing, monitoring and updating master data and relationship data as it impacts store ordering. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring the system execution and data related root cause analytics.  Creation, management and execution of KPI reporting is a crucial part of the position, along with data analytics supporting business decisions for supply chain. This individual will have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure integrity and updating of master data in SAP for the automated ordering system, including product data from Sourcing, Merchandising, Replenishment and Transportation teams.
- Ensure the accurate data flow between the SAP ERP and SAP F&R Ordering systems allowing for accurate order forecasting and proposals.
- Monitor system execution and communicate with internal teams to resolve any system or item configuration errors.
- Develop and deliver metrics to measure data integrity and ensure data governance is adhered to.
- Ensure quality of master data in key systems; development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
- Identifies and aids in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Maintains a customer focus when resolving discrepancies or identifying opportunities for process and data flow improvements.
- Creation, management and execution of KPI reporting for business units and senior leadership.
- Prepares and presents analytics to business teams and leaders providing executive summary and suggested actions.
- Identifies upstream and downstream impacts of data outputs and trends.
- Preparing files for processing (SAP Tables or General Queries).
- Prepare source data and execute into systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy due to the impact to ordering forecast and replenishment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree in Business, Analytics or IT.
- 1-3 years of experience within Supply Chain and Data Analyst roles.
- Advanced excel and or VBA, intermediate Power BI and working knowledge of Alteryx or other modelling software.
- SAP knowledge would be an asset.
- VBA knowledge would be an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills including the ability to study trends in errors or metrics to determine process improvement opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving ability including the ability to find the root cause of problems and develop sustainable resolutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and leverage resources to generate materials.
- Ability to understand big picture and interdependencies with other functions (e.g., IT, Operations, Merchandising etc.).
- Proven time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Bilingual French/English as an asset.
- Weekend and evening work as required on an occasional basis.
